Talfan Farm is situated in 90 acres of farmland near St Clears and is about 10 miles from Carmarthen Town near the Carmarthen/Pembrokeshire border. We are close to the beautiful beaches, castles and gardens of West Wales in addition to being on Cycle Route No 4.

Recently awarded Visit Wales 4-Star accreditation, your accommodation is fully centrally heated and decorated to a very high standard throughout. At your disposal is a guest lounge with TV and a spacious conservatory where you may relax over a cup of tea or coffee. Outdoors is a secluded Courtyard and there are seating areas on the terrace and in the garden.

Your hearty Welsh Breakfast will be served either in the cosy farmhouse kitchen or in the conservatory – depending on the time of year. We use local suppliers for our breakfast ingredients and aim to ensure you have a truly Welsh culinary experience – from Carmarthen Bacon to Penclawdd Laverbread! We cater for all dietary requirements but you really must try our famous home-made Welshcakes, Tiesen Lap and Bara Brith!
